Position: Hair Stylist Location: Atlanta, GA Type: Full-time/Part-time, Commission-based
Responsibilities:
Styling Skillset: Perform a range of natural hair care services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments, utilizing Too Groovy Salon's award-winning techniques. Cater to diverse hair types and textures, ensuring each client's unique needs are met.
Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair goals, preferences, and concerns. Offer expert advice and recommendations for suitable hairstyles and treatments.
Intentional Execution: Employ precision and creativity to execute a variety of hair services, meeting or exceeding client expectations. From natural curls to sleek straight styles, bring our clients' hair dreams to life.
Guest Service: Provide an exceptional salon experience, fostering positive relationships with clients through excellent communication and a genuine commitment to their satisfaction.
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products. Educate clients on the best at-home hair care routines and products to maintain their hair's health and style.
Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
Team Collaboration: Contribute to the vibrant and collaborative atmosphere of the salon. Work alongside fellow stylists to share insights, techniques, and contribute to the growth of the team.
Professional Development: Stay motivated to continuously improve your skills and stay updated with industry advancements. Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance your expertise.
Qualifications:
Non-licensed Hair School Students (Limited Services)
Valid cosmetology, hair design or barbering license in Georgia or transferring from other states
Passion for hairstyling and a commitment to healthy hair care.
Portfolio/Digital gallery showcasing previous work and hairstyling examples (even if you're just starting out!).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of current hair trends and techniques.
