- Start Date: 9/8/25
- Contract Duration: 6-month (potential contract to hire)
- Worksite Location: Madison, WI | Remote
- Hourly Rate: $19.00 per hour W2
- Work Schedule- must be available to work any shift during the following hours: M-F: 8:00am-8:00pm and Sat: 9am-3:00pm
- Training Schedule: First 4 weeks from 8:00am-4:30pm
- Note: Computer/Equipment will be provided, computer must be hardwired connected by an ethernet cable. Internet Speed Test Requirements will be requested.
What you'll do as the Health Plan Specialist:
- Assist members with questions about billing, benefits, enrollment and claim inquiries
- Treat customers with respect and courtesy and always act with the customer in mind
- Represent to the customer in a professional manner
- Maintain and restore customer relationships.
- Work efficiently by utilizing online tools and resources
- Resolve customer issues with a high degree of accuracy and timely follow-up to maintain customer trust and satisfaction
- Provide end-to-end resolution of all issues by maintaining ownership and retaining all documentation to ensure complete, accurate, and timely resolution
What you'll bring to the Health Plan Specialist role:
- High school diploma or 4+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of prior call center experience
- Proficiency in using multi-screen workstations, using multiple applications simultaneously, Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Excellent prior attendance history
- Flexibility with schedule and working occasional weekend hours
- Critical-thinking skills, and a keen ability to show empathy, problem solve, and explain complex situations
- Must be able to adhere to attendance requirements for training and scheduled shifts
- Strong focus on the member experience and a clear understanding of the company's mission
