Job Description

Pride Health is seeking a Histotechnician (ASCP Certified) to join our client’s team in Mountain View, CA . If you have a passion for precision and excellence in laboratory diagnostics, this is a great opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized histology procedures including embedding, microtomy, and staining.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Ensure accurate specimen identification and labeling.
• Perform quality control procedures to ensure specimen integrity.
• Maintain detailed documentation and records in compliance with laboratory protocols and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory personnel to deliver timely and accurate results.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Histotechnician Certification (ASCP) - Required
• Experience: Prior experience in a clinical histology laboratory preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency in laboratory procedures.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Information:

• Location: Mountain View, CA 94040
• Schedule: 9:30 PM - 5:00 AM / 8-hour night shifts
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $55 - $58/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
