About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist with experience in employee relations, recruitment, and HR compliance to join their team on a 3-6 month contract basis. This position is located fully onsite in Washington, DC.

Job Description:

The Human Resources Generalist will play a critical role in managing and resolving employee relations issues, overseeing recruitment processes, facilitating onboarding, and ensuring HR policies align with legal regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and hiring processes.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all new employees.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current labor laws and best practices.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Paycom, UltiPro, or Paychex).
  • Strong communication skills and proactive approach.
  • BA/BS degree required.
