Job Title: Industrial Chiller Service Technician

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Job Summary

We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Chiller Service Technician to join our Los Angeles, CA team. This full-time role is designed for a technician with a strong background in servicing, maintaining, and repairing large-scale industrial chiller systems and associated mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will be a dependable professional with advanced diagnostic skills and a stable local work history, capable of independently managing complex service tasks across heavy-duty HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Industrial Chiller Service & Repair: Perform expert diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on large-capacity industrial chillers, including air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, and centrifugal systems.
• Cooling Tower & Pump Systems: Inspect, service, and repair cooling towers, heat exchangers, condenser water systems, and associated pumps and motors.
• Mechanical System Maintenance: Maintain and repair supporting equipment, including industrial boilers, piping systems, control valves, and process cooling systems.
• Control System Integration: Interface with and troubleshoot industrial control systems and BAS (Building Automation Systems) to ensure proper integration with chiller operations.
• OEM-Specific Support: Apply knowledge and factory training from manufacturers such as Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, and others to perform accurate repairs and system optimizations.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations, site-specific protocols, and internal safety procedures at all job sites.
• Documentation & Client Communication: Maintain clear, accurate records of service activities. Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience servicing industrial or large commercial chiller systems.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• In-depth experience with:

*Industrial chillers (air- and water-cooled, screw, centrifugal)

*Cooling towers and pump systems

*Boilers and process cooling equipment

*Industrial or heavy commercial HVAC systems

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field, prioritize workload, and meet service deadlines.
• Must be a Los Angeles-based candidate with a stable and verifiable work history.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturer certifications or factory training from Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, or similar.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and advanced control technologies.
• Background working in high-demand industrial environments such as manufacturing, data centers, or processing facilities.
