Job Title: Industrial Mechanical Technician II

Location: Parma, ID (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexibility required)

Pay Range: Up to $32.00/hr

Position Overview

The Industrial Mechanical Technician II will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment, infrastructure, and building systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across the facility. This role supports multiple departments, responds to emergency maintenance needs, and assists with installation of new equipment, while ensuring compliance with Client’s quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures, replace/repair parts, and perform system adjustments to restore optimal operation.
• Support installation of new equipment and modifications in compliance with QHSE guidelines.
• Provide first-line technical support and collaborate with departments on innovative solutions for equipment reliability.
• Maintain detailed records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) .
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Planner/Scheduler to complete work orders efficiently.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Train and mentor team members on maintenance practices and equipment use.
• Support projects involving third-party contractors and other cross-functional teams.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs during and outside of regular work hours.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environments.
• Hands-on experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment, building systems, and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of general industry safety requirements .
• Proficient in CMMS systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote).
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
