Position Overview:

The Showroom Design Associate plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service, design expertise, and operational support. This position involves guiding clients through the material and design selection process, preparing accurate quotes, and ensuring an organized and welcoming showroom environment. The associate will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to help bring kitchen and bath projects from concept to reality.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing knowledgeable guidance on materials, finishes, and design options.
• Assist clients with kitchen and bathroom material selections, including stone, tile, and cabinetry.
• Prepare and present accurate quotes for materials, ensuring proper calculations of quantities needed for each project.
• Design cabinetry layouts and elevations using appropriate design tools/software.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom to enhance the customer experience.
• Receive incoming materials, verify accuracy of shipments, and enter products into the inventory system.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure materials are properly stored, accessible, and accounted for.
• Support project coordination by communicating with vendors, contractors, and clients as needed.
• Stay current on product knowledge, design trends, and showroom offerings to better serve clients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support showroom operations and team objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design, or related field preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to calculate material needs accurately and prepare clear, professional quotes.
• Proficiency with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, 2020 Design, or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required in showroom and warehouse settings.
• Team-oriented with flexibility to assist in various aspects of showroom and warehouse operations.
