Job Description - Maintain equipment and train team on A/V systems and repair procedures.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of systems in entertainment venues as needed.
- Conduct interview & hiring processes for AV Technicians.
- Coach AV TMs.
- Project lead for AV capital & property driven projects.
- Assign daily responsibilities to AV techs. Follow up to make sure tasks have been completed and issues have been resolved.
- Assist in the development of design and production specifications of all concerts and live entertainment to ensure that a production schedule is maintained and secured.
- Coordinate with other departments and internal/external guests to ensure all AV needs are met and events occur without incident. (provide logistics for events)
- Act as a cue caller/director during productions when Entertainment/AV Manager is not available.
- Research and evaluation of new products, technologies, and procedures. Work with LVSC AV team and SC AV team on upgrading and maintaining systems and equipment.
- Provide technical support for AV hardware, control systems, and signal issues to both AV and non AV team members throughout our property.
- Develop standard operating procedures to make department as efficient as possible.
- Support AV manager in making cost saving strategies and procedures.
- Specify equipment needs for AV programs and events of various sizes.
- Provide audio and video recording and editing services for corporate and departmental training videos and web programs.
- Program and maintenance of all lighting fixtures and computer based lighting programs in the Bottleneck Blues Bar, Night Club, Cabaret, etc.
- Program and update property wide audio systems. (Media Matrix, Soundweb)
- Program and update music playlists for all property music channels with guidance from senior management.
- Run monitors for national acts.
- Run FOH for national acts.
- When possible, repair equipment power supplies, circuits, consoles, etc… in house to save on costs.
Qualifications - Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions
- Must successfully pass background check
- Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
- Missouri Gaming License Required
- Must be 21 years of age
