Job Description

Our client seeks a Lead Data Analyst to leverage technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to deliver enterprise-wide data products and insights that enhance the customer and employee experience and drive profitable growth.

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 7 months

Work Location: Hybrid, Weston, FL

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. No Corp to Corp or 3rd party agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analyses using Python and SQL to support data-driven decision-making and model development.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) with Pandas and Matplotlib to identify data sources and features for predictive ML models.
  • Utilize cloud services to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently.
  • Ensure data integrity and reliability in relational database systems.
  • Apply advanced statistical techniques to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop data visualizations with Plotley, Matplotlib, and other relevant tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers on strategic data initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and deliver analytic solutions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data products through rigorous validation and testing.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance revenue, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.

Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years in data analytics, focusing on technical analysis and collaboration with Data Scientists.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, Matplotlib) and SQL, including efficient queries for large data warehouses (e.g., Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure).
  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud and BigQuery.
  • Expertise with data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Plotly).
  • Strong background in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Working proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience as a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of business processes preferred.
  • Experience using Generative AI tools for productivity, such as generating code and analyzing unstructured data preferred.
  • Proficiency using version control tools such as GitHub preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders.
