Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Corona, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Summary

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides therapeutic services to children, adults, families, and groups facing psychological or emotional challenges. These may include adjustment to illness or pain, domestic violence, trauma, mood disorders, psychosis, attention deficit, substance use, gambling addiction, and family conflict. The clinician develops and implements strength-based treatment plans in both medical and counseling office settings, with a focus on culturally sensitive care for Latino communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct behavioral health and medical social work services to Latino individuals, families, and groups under supervision.
• Provide crisis counseling and outreach in schools, homes, and other community settings.
• Facilitate specialized counseling groups or classes on topics such as pain management, parenting, grief, depression, anger, and teen issues.
• Participate in weekly case review meetings.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and statistical reports.
• Prepare court psychosocial evaluations, attendance reports, and appear in court as needed.
• Support clients in goal achievement (e.g., weight control, pain management, stress adjustment, substance use recovery).
• Conduct or facilitate relaxation exercises, peer counseling, and family therapy sessions.
• Refer clients to community resources and internal medical services.

Qualifications

• Active California LCSW license.
• Minimum two years of post-master’s clinical experience (medical social work experience preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
