Responsibilities

Partnered with a hospital in southeastern New Hampshire that has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner to provide locum Palliative Care coverage.

Opening Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-6p, off on Tuesday

  • No call shifts

  • Setting: Inpatient and outpatient, fully on-site

  • Patient Ages: 18+

  • Patient Volume: 6-8 per day

  • EMR: Epic

  • Must be board-certified

  • Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

  • Geriatrics a plus but not required

  • Current, unrestricted, active license to practice medicine

  • Current DEA registration

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Hampshire

  • Board certification in Family Practice or Palliative Care

  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a primary care setting.

  • Strong proficiency in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards.

  • Be highly collaborative, and enjoy leading care teams with a patient-centric orientation

  • Confident in his/her ability to deliver high quality primary care, which includes being available to patients and addressing their medical and social needs

  • Driven to care for those with comorbid conditions, the elderly and/or medically underserved
