Position Title: Stock Person – Logistics and Transport $21 Per Hour

Location: New York, NY 10065

Assignment Type: Contract

Date Range: November 3, 2025

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (includes 30-minute break)

Department: Shipping and Receiving

Position Summary

The Stock Person is responsible for supporting logistics and transport functions within the Shipping and Receiving Department. This role ensures the accurate handling, movement, and storage of materials and supplies, contributing to the efficient operations of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and distribute items as requested.
• Maintain organized storage areas to ensure accessibility and safety.
• Operate carts and other material-handling equipment to transport goods.
• Perform inventory checks and reconcile stock discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation for shipping and receiving activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and use of protective gear.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding deliveries, shortages, or issues.
• Assist with departmental projects or additional logistics duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• High School diploma/GED required .
• Ability to read and write.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid mathematical skills (for counting, inventory, and reconciliation).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts.
• Computer literacy (basic skills required).

Preferred:

• Valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

• 13-week assignment.
• Casual attire with safety toe boots required .
• Uniforms provided after a few weeks.
• Must be able to work Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM .
