Job Description
$80,000 - $85,000 + benefits
- Responsible for training, directing, supervising and coordinating the activities of maintenance department.
- Investigate break downs to determine root cause; implement corrective actions in order prevent reoccurrence.
- Foster and practice culture of fixing instead of replacing if time and costs are favorable.
- Issue, execute and follow up on daily work orders for production equipment.
- Establish and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Train, implement and supervise safety procedures for: Lockout/tagout, hot work, hazcom, PPE, respiratory protection, confined space entry, electrical safety, etc.
- Plans and assigns work in accordance to production needs and planning
- Assures that all maintenance jobs meet ISO standards.
- Establish priorities of jobs to meet production requirements.
- Establish schedules for machine maintenance and repair.
- Keep maintenance shop, office and recordkeeping well organized.
- Assist his employees in problem resolution.
- Trains new employees to safely and technically perform maintenance activities.
- Selects, transfers, disciplines and promotes employees within department.
