Job Description : Stockton Maintenance Group is looking for a motivated and skilled Mobile Maintenance (Handyman) Technician to work in the commercial/retail repair industry. Effectively communicate with clients and field service personnel, gather the necessary information to prepare estimates and coordinate and perform repair tasks in a professional manner. Candidate to be skilled in multiple disciplines to ensure all projects are completed on time, according to requirements, and without exceeding budget.

Responsibilities:

· Complete work and repair orders in a timely manner while ensuring quality control

· Manage time effectively and perform work in a safe and professional manner

· Estimate time and scope of repairs. Must have ability to troubleshoot and assess problems while articulating to the client and account manager in a professional manner both verbally and written.

· Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary

· Read, understand and complete work orders, as assigned, in both written and electronic format

· Travel between various locations throughout your region. Some out of town and/or overnight work.

Qualifications:

· Great people skills a must as you will be representing the company

· Previous experience in building maintenance or constructions trades are a must. Such as: Framing, Drywall, Painting, Carpentry, Finish Work, Patching/Mudding, Flooring, Carpet Tiles, Ceramic Tiles, Doors and hardware, Acoustical Ceiling repairs and tiles, minor plumbing and electrical and exterior repairs.

· Ability to work on heights/roofs, from ladders, scaffolds and lifts.

· Familiarity with construction/repair tools and equipment. Must have own basic hand tools

· Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, MVR and Background Check

· Dependable transportation (truck or van) w/ active auto insurance. (Work vehicle provided within 90 days of employment)

· Ability to park work vehicle at own private premise with no HOA or municipal restrictions.

· Valid Florida Driver's license with clean driving record

· Must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to handle physical workload and list a minimum of 50lbs

· Deadline and detail oriented

· Ability to handle technology using multiple apps and portals including smartphones.

· Ability to communicate in English is a must

· Flexibility in daily schedule

· Self-Starter. Ability to work alone and in a team.

· Have a neat and professional appearance. Adhere to OSHA standards for attire, PPE and safety.

Compensation: - $20-$25/hr. (Based on experience and skillset)
