Job Description

As the VP of Corporate Treasury, you will play a critical role in managing the financial resilience and capital efficiency of a leading global asset management platform ($1T+ AUM). This is a high-visibility role covering the entire business, requiring a strategic approach to cash management, liquidity risk, and market risk hedging.

The ideal candidate will act as a key advisor to the CFO and senior leadership, ensuring the firm maintains optimal liquidity buffers and mitigates exposure to volatile FX and interest rate environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cash & Liquidity Management

• Oversee global cash positioning and forecasting across all management entities and fund vehicles.
• Optimize the firm’s liquidity ladder, ensuring sufficient "dry powder" for operational needs and strategic investments.
• Manage banking relationships and credit facilities (e.g., Revolving Credit Facilities, Subscription Lines).

Funding & Capital Markets

• Execute and manage the firm's funding strategy, identifying diversified sources of capital.
• Monitor and manage the cost of funds, ensuring the capital structure supports long-term growth.
• Lead the analysis for capital allocations and internal funding transfers.

Liquidity Risk Management

• Develop and maintain the Liquidity Risk Framework, including stress testing and Contingency Funding Plans (CFP).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory capital requirements and liquidity ratios (LCR, NSFR, etc.) specific to asset management.

Market Risk & Hedging (FX & IR)

• Identify and quantify the firm’s exposure to Foreign Exchange (FX) and Interest Rate (IR) volatility.
• Design and execute hedging strategies using derivatives (Swaps, Forwards, Options) to protect the firm’s P&L and balance sheet.
• Manage the ISDA/CSA documentation process and collateral management.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience: 5–9 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Funding, or Liquidity Risk.
• Background: Must come from a top-tier Asset Manager, Investment Bank, or Financial Services firm.
• Technical Excellence: Deep understanding of cash flow modeling, money markets, and derivative instruments.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate complex risk data into actionable executive-level insights.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (CFA, CTP, or MBA is a plus).
