This leader has operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of the department or area. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:- Require Bachelors degree in Health Science program or Medical Technology.
- Require qualification as an ASCP, AMT, NCA, or equivalent licensure.
- Require a minimum of six (6) years of experience in a professional capacity within a Clinical Laboratory setting.
- Require licensure as a Supervisor, under Chapter 483, Part IV, Florida Statute 61F-5.002 or able to qualify within one year.
- Prefer previous supervisory/management experience.
- Prefer effective communication and listening skills.
- Prefer the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
- Prefer demonstrated dedication to service driven culture.
- Prefer the ability to troubleshoot equipment and problems as they arise.
