The Strategic Partnerships Group is seeking a Manager to support New Business Development and Strategy for Samsung’s cross-platform service business. This role will be responsible for identifying and executing strategic partnerships that drive revenue, enable new products and services, and enhance the services experience across Samsung’s device ecosystem. This role will offer an opportunity to define Samsung’s cross-device service strategy and product roadmap and lead major initiatives within the company. The candidate should have the ability to quickly develop expertise and a point of view on new industries, technologies and partnership opportunities, and advocate for, and build consensus around, their recommendations among executives and other key stakeholders.
The candidate should be equally comfortable negotiating contracts and collaborating on product strategy, and should have experience leading complex, high-impact projects with cross-functional teams. The candidate should have experience working at the cross-section of gaming, tech and media and possess a strong understanding of the Mobile and TV landscape, including the key services, distribution channels and business models.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, as well as a strong analytical bent and the ability to navigate and embrace complexity. While managing the day-to-day partner relationships, the candidate will need to be able to see the big picture while remaining detail oriented. This individual will demonstrate a mastery of verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, drive presentations, and represent Samsung to all levels of partner organizations. The Strategic Partner Manager must be a self-starter and will need be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, take the initiative, manage multiple projects at a time, and work under tight timeframes.

Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York City, NY, is expected to be between $130,000 ~ $165,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
