Job Title: Marketing Content Specialist

Location: 425 Paul Rd, Rochester, NY

Pay and Hours: $21/hr, 40 hours/week

Job Overview: We are looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to provide support to the Human Resources department and Leadership team on a project that will directly impact a positive employee experience, bringing important communications to the fingertips of all employees in the company. You will be responsible for assisting with the creation, implementation, and data analysis of visual communication aids for this important company initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to build on your educational communications knowledge by gaining real-world experience in digital communications strategy.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Graphics Creation: Assist in creating eye-popping digital communications to be used with internal employee digital messaging.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Partner with company leaders and project committee members in creating and tailoring communications graphics to achieve the desired key messaging on internal digital messaging display.
  • Content/QR Code Creation: Creation of content tied to messaging in partnership with project committee members. Create QR codes linking graphics to associated content.
  • Data Analysis: Provide detailed analysis of communications messages by tracking and analyzing QR code scanning from employees.
  • Recruitment Messaging: Create Lifetime Assistance branded communications for external applicants, to be used in marketing of open positions on social media.
  • Lead Weekly Meetings: Lead weekly meetings with committee members to discuss ideas, obtain feedback on digital messaging, and edit communications, as necessary.
  • Marketing Assistance: Assist Leadership with engaging graphics for various marketing materials to be used externally
  • Post Content to Associated Platforms: Post approved material online, both internally via display channels and externally on Lifetime’s social media accounts.
  • Perform Other Duties, as Assigned: Assist with creation and display of other graphical communications material, as requested by your leadership team.

What You Bring:

  • Degree in Communications, Graphics Design, Business or related field
  • Proficiency with a variety of graphics design tools (Canva preferred)
  • Excellent written and graphics communication skills
  • Self-motivated & driven to achieve results
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills with an ability to collaborate with varying levels of the organization, as needed
  • The ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods, and lift and move up to thirty pounds
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn
