Job Description

A 9-year established Massage Therapy Studio and herbal apothecary, in Helena, Montana, with a focus on organic and holistic health, is looking for 1-3 Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT) to help its growing practice. Looking for commitments of 1 year or more. Trial period initially. Ideally candidates are hired on a rolling basis over the coming year.

Wild Willow Wellness therapists are focused on providing high quality body work to the Helena community. Its management takes care of client booking, generating clients, and many other basic business operations so that the contracted therapist can do what they do best, provide the best quality massage to clients. Opportunities for working with the apothecary are available as well at various times in the year, though not required. This company’s core values are caring for our community here in Helena, supporting one another, being curious about deepening our practice, and a focus on quality. Requirements for contractors/employees:

Current Montana state massage therapy license, Professional liability insurance, Montana Independent Contractors License

Strong candidates will have:

-2 years + experience as a licensed massage therapist desired but not required with a strong example of good massage skills while in school or just finished. You will need to provide a 1 hour massage ahead of being hired.

-Ability to thrive in a private setting, where only one client is seen at a time

-Respect for and ability to work within the boundaries of a non-toxic studio that uses green and environmentally friendly products and as little plastics as possible

Commission base is 50% of earnings + 100% of tips. Commission to contractor for massages are as follows: $50 for 60-minutes; $62.5 for 75-minutes; $75 for 90-minute, and $100+ for 120-minutes, along with a higher percentage when clients don’t tip. After one year working with Wild Willow, the company will invest in LMT’s professional development.
