$85,000 – $115,000

Do you have a passion for numbers, probability, and game design? We’re looking for a Mathematician II to join a leading gaming team in Las Vegas. In this role, you’ll design and validate math models for innovative slot and casino games, ensuring they meet both creative goals and regulatory standards. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, producers, and other stakeholders to bring cutting-edge gaming experiences to life.

What You’ll Do

  • Design math models for multiple games, leveraging Microsoft Excel, Visual Studio (C#), and proprietary tools.
  • Document and validate math designs, creating PAR sheets and theoretical calculations for regulatory approval.
  • Collaborate with engineers to test and verify math models through simulations and analysis.
  • Analyze performance of new and existing games, providing statistical insights to support product development.
  • Translate complexity by clearly explaining math concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of trends through market research, casino visits, gaming shows, and industry publications.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and gaming regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support 3rd-party math design projects and cross-functional R&D initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience in the gaming industry; professional programming experience highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in C# (required).
  • Strong background in statistics, probability, and mathematical modeling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level or above).
  • Ability to analyze technical documents and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required gaming licensure.
