Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Sunnyvale, TX 75182 . This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Type of certification required:
BLS and CMA
Shift start & end times: Monday- Friday 8:00-5:00
Dress code: Navy, Gray, or Black Scrubs
Pay Range: $18-$23.20 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
Responsibilities:
Must have qualifications/experience:
1. High school graduate or GED equivalent
2. Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 180 days of employment. Medical Assistants who are hired prior to receiving their certification are expected to perform at the same level as a “certified” Medical Assistant.
3. Current BLS certification (through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network) at the time of hire or within 30 days of hire
4. Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
5. Knowledge of medical terminology required
6. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies required
7. Good communication and customer service skills required
