Duration : 13 weeks contract(Potential for an extension)

Shift: Monday-Friday 12PM-8:30PM (must be flexible to work graveyard/weekend shifts)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Current ASCP certification.
Ability to read microbiology results independently preferred.
Willing and able to perform venous and arterial blood collection.
Prior experience with microbiology, hematology, chemistry, blood banking, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, and blood gases and ability to move between all areas easily within the same shift.
A positive contributor to interpersonal interactions within the laboratory and MRH.
Willingness to modify schedule to help accommodate time off requests.
Emotionally mature and able to maintain same in stressful or STAT situations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
Must possess high levels of self-motivation and management.
Able to lift/move up to 15 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 15 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to work in a confidential manner.
Reliable and timely with work schedule.
Flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned.
