Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Transcribes dictated reports, memos, and letters accurately utilizing word processor and dictation system.
Follows medical transcription guidelines and practices.
Responsible for using correct designated reference materials.
Reviews dictations for accuracy to include verification of correct patient identification data.
Distributes completed transcription to appropriate person for review.
Insures maintenance of confidentiality of transcriptions.
Other electronic healthcare record duties as assigned.
