Job Description

Join a growing restoration company with branches in several states. We service the residential and commercial markets and are seeking a Mitigation Technician that will both lead onsite teams and restoration projects while also acting as a working lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working leads for residential and commercial jobs
• Responsible for onsite direction of crew
• Perform water extraction and fire mitigation services efficiently and safely
• Prepare rooms / areas for work activities to include setting up staging areas and equipment
• Perform demolition and general clean-up
• Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing debris
• Set drying equipment and complete moisture mapping
• Responsible for accuracy of time and materials charged to each project
• Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, and insurance companies
• Document all job activity using proper forms and filling them out completely
• Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenance
• Participation in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent degree
• At least 1 year of experience in fire restoration, mold remediation, water mitigation (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Will drive company vehicles at times
• IICRC Certification(s) WRT required
• ASD/MRT, preferred
• DASH/MICA, preferred
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools, lift 50 lbs. and occasionally climb ladders, stoop, bend, kneel, and work in hot, cold, and humid conditions
• Basic computer skills (including experience with common, “off-the-shelf” software programs such as MS Office, DocuSign, Zoom, and the like)
• Must be able to participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls

Compensation/Benefits:

• Salary Range: $18 – $22 per hour based on experience (Room for negotiation)
