Education & Experience

  • Guest Services: Welcome guests during the overnight shift (typically 11 PM - 7 AM), and assist with check-ins, reservations, and inquiries.
  • Night Audit: Prepare and finalize Night Audit work, ensuring accurate daily transaction balancing.
  • Security: Conduct security walks to ensure guest and property safety.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily reports and the Daily Flash Report for management insights.
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments for smooth operations and exceptional service.
  • Experience: 1 year in a hotel or related field. Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
  • Skills: Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing. Strong problem-solving skills and independence.
  • Attributes: Friendly, service-oriented, with excellent communication and attention to detail.

Job Duties & Functions

  • Assist guests with check-in, check-out, and overnight inquiries.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of hotel transactions.
  • Generate, review, and distribute reports for management.
  • Monitor and address security concerns during the overnight shift.
  • Ensure all revenue postings are accurate and balanced.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests throughout the night.
  • Assist in preparing breakfast setup as required.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for special requests.
  • Handle emergencies and guest complaints professionally.
