Position Overview:

One of Hawaii’s most significant luxury hotel groups recognized globally is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Director of Food & Beverage to lead its acclaimed dining and beverage program. This role is central to the hotel's guest experience, requiring both creative vision and disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead and oversee all F&B operations, including signature restaurants, bars, in-room dining, private events, and seasonal activations.
  • Drive the development and execution of culinary and beverage concepts that reflect the local Hawaiian culture and global luxury standards .

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain the highest levels of quality, consistency, and service across all outlets.
  • Manage F&B budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, and cost management to ensure profitability without compromising on excellence.
  • Oversee compliance with all safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

Team Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse, passionate, and professional team, fostering a service-oriented and collaborative culture.
  • Promote internal growth and succession planning, with a focus on leadership development.

Guest Experience & Innovation

  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef, Sommelier, and other creative partners to continuously evolve the guest experience.
  • Stay ahead of culinary trends and guest expectations, incorporating local sourcing, sustainability, and innovation.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the Rooms, Sales & Marketing, Events, and Executive teams to deliver cohesive, brand-aligned experiences.
  • Engage with guests directly to build relationships, capture feedback, and personalize offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive F&B leadership experience within ultra-luxury hotels, resorts, or destination restaurants.
  • Proven track record managing multiple high-end outlets and leading large, diverse teams.
  • Experience working with globally recognized hospitality brands or Leading Hotels of the World properties strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of food trends, wine and beverage programs, cost control, and guest engagement strategies.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
