Job Description

Agate Bay Realty seeks a motivated (in-person) Rental Operations Manager for our close-knit team in Carnelian Bay. We manage over 50 rental unit spanning from Short term, Ski lease and Long term units.

Long-term commitment preferred, offering promotion potential and bonuses.

Pay is DOE based on experience.

You Bring:

  • 1-3 years direct Short-Term Rental Management experience (preferred).
  • Hospitality or Customer Service experience (recommended).
  • Property Management experience (recommended).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Customer-centric approach and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Tech Savy; Familiarity with booking platforms and relevant software.
  • Local Carnelian Bay knowledge (beneficial).
  • Comfort around dogs (essential).

Helpful Skills:

  • Sales or Marketing experience.
  • Basic financial understanding.
  • Experience working with Streamline PMS, Breezeway.io, RueBaRue or other relevant software.

Job Overview:

  • Guest Experience & Communication: Pre-arrival inquiries, information, check-in; during-stay support, after hours support and issue resolution; post-stay follow-up, reviews, and deposit handling.
  • Property Management & Readiness: Turnover coordination with GM, cleaning/maintenance oversight, inventory management, office supply organization and billing.
  • Homeowner Communication & Relationship Management: Regular updates on damages/claims, timely inquiry response, assisting with performance reports, building positive relationships.
  • Booking Management & Administration: Basic bookkeeping, direct booking handling, assisting with payment processing.
  • Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Identifying improvement areas, contributing to strategies staying updated on industry trends.
