Job Description

Our client, a growing tech company in downtown Boston, is seeking a Part-Time Office Administrator to join their team in a long-term, ongoing temporary role. This flexible position offers $20/hour for 10-20 hours per week, with most weeks around 10 hours. Some weeks may require closer to 20 hours to support special events. The schedule is mostly self-directed, with required attendance only for specific in-office events. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom, and the position starts ASAP. While there's potential for permanent conversion, it is not structured as a temp-to-perm role at this time. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations including mail checks and supply stocking
  • Manage shipping logistics and coordinate deliveries
  • Track and maintain in-office and online swag inventory
  • Assist with planning and executing in-office and local events
  • Act as liaison with WeWork for facility management and communication
  • Support IT team with laptop distribution and basic troubleshooting
  • Provide general administrative support across departments as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience in office admin or facilities roles preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-starter with proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and office tools
  • Comfortable managing inventory and shipping tasks
  • Event coordination experience is a plus
