Job Description
We are hiring for our client in the healthcare industry.
Shift: Monday to Friday; 7 am to 7 pm (staggered shifts)
Duration: 3 months (extendable)
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound/outbound calls and electronic communications
- Answer, screen, and direct calls using a call management system
- Respond to general inquiries and escalate complex issues to appropriate medical personnel
- Schedule and confirm new and follow-up medical appointments
- Register patients and verify insurance coverage
- Communicate estimated patient financial responsibility based on coverage
- Send messages to staff via phone, text, or email systems
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and reconciliation of information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on call center experience , preferably in a healthcare or customer service setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
- Comfortable working with call management and communication systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational training or certificates in healthcare-related areas (e.g., appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, medical assisting)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or operations
