Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our Clients team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between patients, providers, and administrative staff, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved. Your ability to manage scheduling, verify insurance coverage, and provide exceptional support will be crucial to maintaining high-quality patient care.

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and PTO

Monday- Friday

8:00am-5:00pm

100% REMOTE

Applicants must have experience with patient scheduling to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the billing specialist to confirm patients' medical insurance coverage accurately.

• Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule initial client appointments.

• Offer administrative assistance to medical professionals, ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Respond to inbound calls and emails promptly, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.

• Facilitate patient registration and appointment scheduling with efficiency.

• Manage authorization processes for medical procedures and treatments.

• Communicate with patients regarding upcoming appointments and necessary documentation.

• Verify medical insurance details and assist patients with billing-related questions.

• Ensure all patient records are updated and maintained with utmost accuracy.

• Must have 3 years of experience

• Experience in handling inbound calls within a healthcare or similar setting.

• Proficiency in scheduling and managing patient appointments.

• Familiarity with medical insurance billing and verification processes.

• Ability to register patients and maintain organized records.

• Strong skills in obtaining authorizations for medical services.

• Effective communication skills for contacting and assisting patients.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Previous experience in providing administrative support within a medical environment.
