Job Description

We are hiring for our client in the healthcare industry.

Duration: 3 months (extendable)

Location: Alhambra, CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for access to academic medical centers and health sciences facilities.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming and outgoing telephone calls, electronic messages, and web-based communications using a call management system.
  • Respond to basic inquiries and refer complex matters to appropriate medical personnel.
  • Contact and distribute messages to medical staff using various electronic methods, including text, voice, and email systems.
  • Schedule and confirm initial and follow-up medical appointments.
  • Register patients, verify insurance coverage, and inform patients of estimated financial responsibilities.
  • Perform data entry tasks, maintain data integrity, and reconcile records as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a call center , customer service, or healthcare environment .
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational certification in healthcare (appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, or medical assistant training).
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or operations.
