Dedicated Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join a Payroll team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing timesheets, running timekeeping reports, and following up with department heads. This role requires a strong attention to detail and an ability to communicate effectivly.

- Temporary role with potential for permanent.
- $20-$23
- M-F 7am-3:30pm (OT potential)
Responsibilities
- Process timecards for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
- Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
- Utilize accounting software such as Paycom.
- Collaborate with HR and other department heads to ensure employee information is current and accurate for payroll processing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role within finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Paycom.
- Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping practices is essential.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting regulations is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with employees regarding payroll inquiries.
