Phlebotomist - Contract - New Brunswick, NJ

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Specimen Collection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on patient interaction and specimen collection for drug testing. Your attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) are crucial for success in this position.



Skills & Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Familiarity with specimen collection procedures is preferred.

The Phlebotomist will:

• Greet and identify patients following established SOPs.
• Obtain necessary billing and testing information as per SOPs.
• Review test requisitions to ensure proper test collection.
• Assemble required equipment for specimen collection.
• Collect specimens for drug testing, adhering to SOPs and the correct order of draw.
