Job Description

Day to Day:

We are seeking a team of Process Maintenance Technicians to support the manufacturing process areas at our Holly Springs, NC site. These roles will focus on maintaining and troubleshooting equipment used in upstream and downstream biopharmaceutical production. Candidates should bring strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Note: The first month will be focused on training.

• First 2 weeks: computer-based learning
• Gowning certification required before entering cleanroom areas
• Initial responsibilities will be heavily focused on preventive maintenance (PMs)

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process equipment across upstream and downstream operations.
• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and utility systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure equipment reliability.
• Assist in developing and executing PMs and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with GMP standards.
• Respond to equipment alarms and perform root cause analysis.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures quickly.

Must Haves:

• Industrial manufacturing mechanical background (open to various years of experience here, but need at least 1 true year of experience unless coming directly out of the military)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new systems
• Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and wearing appropriate PPE
• Willingness to complete extensive training before hands-on work begins

Plusses:

• Prior experience in GMP or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
• Understanding of GMP documentation and deviation processes
• Experience working with bioprocess or production equipment
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
• Familiarity with DeltaV or other DCS/automation systems
