  5. Maintain detailed laboratory records and prepare data for publication, presentations, and grant reports.
  6. Participate in lab meetings, journal clubs, and institute seminars to foster a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment.
  7. Contribute to mentoring and training graduate students, undergraduate researchers, or technicians as appropriate.

Qualifications

  1. Ph.D. in genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, physiology, or a closely related discipline.
  2. Strong record of productivity as demonstrated by publications or equivalent research outputs.
  3. Proficiency in molecular and cellular biology techniques; experience with animal models of cardiac disease is desirable.
  4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-based research environment.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and troubleshoot experiments.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present research findings effectively.
