Product Owner

About The Job:

We are looking for a Product Owner who is passionate about building innovative ad products and excited to take ownership of the product lifecycle. In this role, you will help solve the challenges faced by e-commerce brands and retailers looking to launch performance marketing campaigns across the open-web.

You will work directly with cross-functional teams to ensure that these products are strategically and uniquely positioned to drive value for both internal teams and external customers.

What you'll do:

  • Support Strategy: Collaborate closely with the Head of Product to turn strategy into execution plans, ensuring backlog priorities and tactical efforts directly support business objectives.
  • Backlog Management: Take ownership of the product backlog, continuously refining high-level features into well-defined, actionable tasks with cross-functional teams to drive development.
  • Feature Development: Work closely with engineering, data and design teams to deliver features that meet user needs and business value through continuous improvement, feedback and testing.
  • KPI Tracking: Track and analyze success metrics to guide informed product decisions and optimizations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a facilitator to resolve challenges, remove blockers and ensure smooth execution of priorities.
  • Customer Focus: Actively gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to ensure our products evolve with user needs and industry trends.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience: You have 5+ years of experience as a product manager or product owner in martech, adtech, or a high-growth tech company, with a technical background allowing you to be fluent in developing ad products and features.
  • Effective communicator: You excel at clearly communicating with stakeholders, managing expectations, navigating conflicting priorities and ensuring alignment between business goals, customer needs, and technical constraints.
  • Ownership: You can zoom in and out, turning vision into execution by driving initiatives on the ground and ensuring tactical execution aligns with the company's strategy.
  • Builder mindset: You have experience building products from 0 to 1, breaking down problems into manageable tasks while iterating and improving based on feedback.
  • Market awareness: You understand your market and the competitive landscape, with the ability to leverage insights to influence product development.
  • Metrics-driven: You take a data-driven approach to product development, prioritization, and continuous iteration to optimize value to users and drive revenue growth.
  • Bilingual: You ideally are fluent in both English and French.
