Work Location: New York City, NY

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for SWIFT payments and ISO20022 initiatives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, workflows, and data requirements related to SWIFT payments and ISO20022.

  • Gather requirements from business units and translate those to developers and architects and testers

  • Documents functional requirements (in the form of user stories), analyzes requirements in the context of software and processes

  • Possess a deep understanding of SWIFT payments, ISO20022 standards, and related financial messaging protocols.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.

  • Data analysis and coordinate with QA and UAT teams

  • Work with development and support teams on production issues as needed

  • Working with the product/business team and end-users to deliver functionalities while maintaining quality.

  • Refining business requirements, prioritizing the product and sprint backlogs into actionable stories.

  • Act as a liaison between product teams, business users and technical teams to deliver tangible outcomes

Top Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in the financial services industry.

  • Strong knowledge of SWIFT payments and ISO20022 standards.

  • Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Details:
