Job Description

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Planner to support daily operations by coordinating production schedules, material flow, and inventory accuracy. This role works cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and delivered on time.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and maintain production schedules aligned with capacity, demand, and material availability
• Coordinate raw material planning and finished goods movement across manufacturing and distribution operations
• Monitor inventory levels and support cycle count activities to maintain accurate records
• Adjust schedules as needed to respond to equipment downtime, supply constraints, or shifting priorities
• Maintain accurate production data, routings, and bills of materials within planning systems
• Communicate production plans and updates to operations, logistics, and customer-facing teams
• Support short- and mid-term planning through forecasting and capacity reviews
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field — or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
• Experience working with ERP or MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing production setting
• Clear communicator who collaborates well across departments
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
