Production Scheduler

Manufacturing | Food & Beverage

We are partnering with a growing food manufacturing organization seeking a Production Scheduler to support operations and co-packer production activities. This is a full-time, exempt role reporting to the Manager of Master Scheduling and plays a critical part in ensuring efficient production planning, inventory accuracy, and on-time fulfillment.

This position operates within FDA, FSMA, and GFSI food safety requirements and is primarily office-based.

What You’ll Do

  • Use forecasting tools to determine production requirements and build production schedules
  • Schedule production internally and with external co-packers
  • Assign new item SKUs and define production processes
  • Manage rework activities at internal and co-packer locations
  • Process shipments of finished goods to internal and external warehouses
  • Coordinate freight with carriers and enter loads into the TMS system
  • Request and manage ingredient documentation for co-packers
  • Reconcile co-packer invoices and provide documentation to Accounts Payable
  • Update co-packer pricing and product pricing in the ERP system
  • Determine ingredient requirements for upcoming production campaigns
  • Process production orders and reconcile inventory following co-packer runs
  • Coordinate the return of unused raw materials after production campaigns
  • Support additional scheduling and operations initiatives as assigned

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of scheduling, planning, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, finance, and external partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Business Administration
  • Project Management
  • Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Office-based role
  • Standard work schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • No direct reports
  • No travel required
