Job Description JOB SUMMARY To support and help lead the efforts of the Planning team in meeting business objectives and exceeding Customer expectations.
DESCRIPTION (RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES)•Update and Maintain Master Schedule for Ready Refresh Production
•Plan Shipments against Daily Sales Data and Coordinate with Carrier
•Assign priority orders to production line and Carrier.
•Order Raw Materials and Maintain Inventory Levels.
•Maintain proper inventory levels at the plant and outside warehouse locations.
•Be proactive in identifying product issues and communicating to Locations/ Branches.
•Focus on achieving Daily Load out Goals at Branch Level.
•Proactively communicate within Planning Team and Ready Refresh branch Leadership
•Maintain accurate Data of Current shipments / Quantities.
•Follow up on Corrections to Load Reports
•Receive in Raw Materials Systematically on Returns and Transfers.
•Post out / Keep Current on Outbound orders (Subject to change if new process rolled out)
•Other duties as assigned by Planning Management Team
•Communicate and Create Orders for 3rd Party Vendors / Manage their inventory levels
Qualifications REQUIREMENTS •Demonstrated teamwork and proven track record of team engagement
•Must work well with others and engage cross-department accountability
•Proven ability to lead and engage teams in a changing environment.
•Ability to handle multiple people and projects in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent communication and organization skills
•Strong SAP ability, preferred
•Ability to work Accurately and quickly to adhere to daily deadlines.
•Computer skills; Microsoft Office inc. intermediate Excel skills.
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
•Must be flexible in working hours - overtime, vacation coverage, and off-shifts.
