TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to support an innovative aerospace company in Covington, GA! This role plays a key part in aligning production schedules, materials, and resources to meet ambitious manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage detailed production schedules in coordination with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Analyze capacity, material requirements, and production data to ensure balanced workloads and efficient operations.
• Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve cycle times across production lines.
• Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability and avoid shortages or excess.
• Support MES and ERP integration, digital tool adoption, and lean manufacturing principles to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7+ years in production planning or manufacturing operations (aerospace or automotive preferred).
• Strong background in MRP/ERP systems and scheduling tools.
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, capacity planning, and materials management.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
