Job Description

Our client, a global leader in medical manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate a high-impact program in the healthcare sector. This is a dynamic and leadership-focused position, responsible for managing the planning, execution, and tracking of a new program launch in collaboration with internal and external teams.

Focus:

  • Act as the primary point of contact with the customer to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure the successful execution of the program from planning through to product launch.
  • Establish and maintain program controls, including processes, procedures, and reporting mechanisms required to manage the program effectively.
  • Lead the program’s progress, ensuring milestones are met across all phases of the project, and adjust timelines as needed to meet customer expectations.
  • Oversee the program budget, identifying potential issues, and managing risks throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Lead program reviews and ensure timely communication of status updates, issues, and risks.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality control to ensure alignment and support for program goals.
  • Foster a collaborative environment focused on problem-solving, proactive planning, and risk management.
  • Apply process improvement techniques to ensure continued efficiency and quality in project delivery.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of program management experience, ideally in manufacturing or healthcare environments.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 or equivalent quality standards is preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in complex program execution.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resource allocation in a program management context.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong experience with earned value management and program performance metrics.
