Job Duties - Ensure business, technical, environmental, operational, financial, and scheduling objectives are met for assigned projects.
- Manage project workflow by coordinating interfaces across facility planning, regulatory, right-of-way, environmental, engineering, design, construction, operations, and marketing functions.
- Lead project meetings and oversee adherence to planned budgets and schedules.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively, considering team expertise and workload across optimization, right-of-way, environmental, regulatory, technical services, and construction.
- Assist in identifying and implementing project management best practices.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with project teams, sponsors, project control, facility owners, and operators.
- Serve as a functional member of the project management team.
- Facilitate the development of project budgets.
- Conduct and lead project review processes to ensure alignment and progress.
Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills to:
- Define critical tasks
- Establish event sequences
- Identify responsible individuals/teams
- Set timelines and outcomes
- Develop comprehensive project plans
- Proven project management skills to:
- Develop and monitor work agreements and budgets
- Determine specifications, schedules, and deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to:
- Facilitate team collaboration
- Provide guidance and direction
- Communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes
- Financial modeling skills to:
- Quantify project costs and benefits
- Track and maintain financial outcomes
- Knowledge of:
- Project management techniques
- Company policies, procedures, and practices
- Applicable federal, state, and local laws
