Sr. Project Manager/Scrum Master

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Project Manager to lead key initiatives within our Service Management and Tech Operations functions. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodology , exceptional facilitation skills, and the ability to drive process maturity across multiple delivery tracks. The ideal candidate will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology enablement.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Agile Practices: Promote and embed Agile methodology across the Service Management function.
• Scrum Leadership: Orchestrate all Scrum ceremonies for two critical delivery tracks within Service Management.
• Backlog Management: Lead structured backlog refinement sessions to produce high-confidence Jira plans aligned with Product Owner goals.
• Daily Stand-Ups: Facilitate stand-ups with a focus on identifying and removing obstacles.
• Mentorship: Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices.
• Data Integrity: Monitor and maintain accurate reporting fields (e.g., target dates, KPI linkages) for P4/P5 initiatives.
• Project Ownership: Manage 1–2 Tech Ops projects, primarily process-heavy in nature.
• Process Development: Service Management: Build business plans and processes for IT Asset Management, Configuration, and Discovery; ensure technology supports these processes effectively.
• Release Management: Mature existing processes, implement Ovation improvements, and oversee tool configuration and implementation.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: Navigate evolving processes and make pragmatic concessions where change controls are limited.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT Service Management or Tech Operations.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience facilitating ceremonies.
• Proficiency with Jira and backlog management.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to design and implement process improvements in complex environments.
• Familiarity with IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, and Release Management processes.
• Comfortable working in environments with immature processes and limited change controls.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring teams in Agile practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
