Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.

We are currently seeking a Per Diem Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, Maryland. Please Note: this position requires a minimum of 18 months prior experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland
• Must have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months' experience as a PMHNP in a clinical setting

Available Shift

• Weekdays
• Day Shift
• No nights, holidays or weekends
