This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Delivers a prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients safely and accurately
• Charts daily dose delivered and notifies staff when boosts are approaching
• Checks task pad daily and takes appropriate action to ensure all tasks will be completed in a timely manner.
• Assured guidance images are taken and are available for the physician to evaluate daily.
• Obtains microdosimetry measurements are directed by the physician.
• Explains all treatment procedures to all patients.
• Fill out appropriate daily documentation and captures applicable charges following each treatment.
• Verify set-up parameters for new treatment fields against the treatment plan with another therapist before capturing the settings in the ARIA.
• Assures patient face photo is in the EMR and performs a daily time-out prior to each treatment delivery
• Exhibits competency in operating Radiation Therapy equipment and serves as the float therapist when called upon to do so.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certification/Licensures: Board Certified by the AART as a Registered Technologist R.T (T)
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years
