Job Title: Refrigeration Assistant Project Manager

Location: Orange, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Refrigeration Assistant Project Manager to support our growing team in Orange, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems and at least 2 years of relevant project coordination or field experience. This role supports the Project Manager in all phases of commercial refrigeration projects from pre-construction planning through closeout, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and management of commercial refrigeration projects.
• Support scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project documentation.
• Work closely with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered on time.
• Review and interpret refrigeration plans, submittals, and specifications.
• Assist with onsite inspections, progress tracking, and safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide status updates and resolve issues.
• Utilize project management tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite to manage documentation and workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration or HVAC project coordination, field installation, or project support.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration systems (rack systems, walk-ins, reach-ins, condensers, etc.).
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to read construction plans and technical documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Must be local to Orange, CA, or willing to relocate or commute reliably.
