City Wide of Boston ( is growing rapidly and we are looking for another “A Player” sales leader to add to our team. The ideal candidate is someone who is driven to succeed with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude in supporting their team and driving revenue. A strong leadership IQ and a desire to drive success through coaching and mentoring is a must. This position will be based in Marlborough MA and will work with a team that targets new customer opportunities throughout central and eastern Massachusetts.
What drives success for this role
· Experience and/or a keen interest in sales management as a career path
· 5+ years of experience in outside B2B sales roles
· Demonstrated success in prospecting for net new business through phone calls, email, knocking on doors, networking, LinkedIn, etc.
· Demonstrated consistency in meeting of or exceeding of quotas.
· A student of sales – continuously growing and developing as a sales professional
· Proven success in negotiating and closing deals from start to close
· A competitive spirit and a passion for the thrill of closing a deal
· An exceptional work ethic and driven to succeed
· A servant leader to the core!
What are the responsibilities
· Hire, train and develop team members
· Manage daily, weekly and monthly success with your team
· Manage sales territory plans
· Prospect on phones and in field with direct reports
· Work independently as needed to prospect large clients in the territory
· Ensure proper CRM practices are followed
· Assist team with pricing and bidding deals
· Participate with direct reports in sales meetings and weekly territory planning meetings
· Conduct daily team/individual recaps
· Provide coverage in open territories as needed
· Provide strategy and recommendations for lead generation
· Manage accurate sales pipeline
· Participate in company meetings and leadership meetings
· Participate in networking events to build relationships with key decision makers
· Work closely with operations team to transition new accounts
Compensation
· Base Salary: $100,000
· On Target Earnings: $165,000+
· Additional Compensation: Uncapped Commission. Bonuses based on team success
