Morgan Prestwich is thrilled to be partnering with a leading medical device manufacturing company. Our client specializes in delivering innovative, user-friendly medical and diagnostic solutions for sleep health.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced service engineer and technical leader with a background in IT systems and networked software who will also oversee a team of hardware service technicians. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional with a strong background in engineering, ideally within the Medical Device industry. This key role requires experience in people management, service engineering and driving improvements in customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a cross-functional service team spanning hardware repair and IT/software support.
• Provide technical direction for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and best practices.
• Oversee daily service operations.
• Represent service delivery at leadership meetings.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex issues.

Must Haves

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in service engineering.
• At least 2 years in supervisory, team lead, or managerial role within a regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with service management platforms, CRM systems, and analytics/reporting tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards for service operations in the medical device industry.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Location

This role is based onsite at our client's headquarters in Washington.

*Relocation support is available for this position.
