📌 Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Unit

Location: 381-bed Level I Trauma Center

🩺 Department: Medical/Surgical

• Unit Size: 25 beds
• Patient Population: General Med/Surg
• Daily Census: 18–25 patients passing through the unit per day
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 5:1

📚 Experience Requirements

• Minimum: 6 months RN experience (acute care preferred but strong LTAC considered)
• Preferred: 1 year of Med/Surg
• Cross Training: Partial (no home health or school nursing cross-training opportunities)

💰 Compensation

RN Pay Range (Based on Experience):

• 1 year: $34.37
• 5 years: $41.67
• 10 years: $50.80
• 15 years: $59.92
• 20 years/max: $70.00

Differentials:

• Nights: +$5/hr
• Evening: +$3/hr
• Weekends: +$2.25/hr (Friday evening → Monday AM)

LPN Pay: 2:1 up to 4 years total

🎁 Bonuses & Assistance

• Sign-On Bonus:
• Days: $20,000
• Nights: $25,000

📄 Requirements

• Certifications:
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS within 90 days
• Education:
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing

🕒 Schedule

• Shifts: Days or Nights
• Schedule: 3×12s , self-scheduling within reason
• Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
• Holidays: Rotating
• On Call: None
